How to Register Shares from IRA

There are multiple ways to directly register your shares from your IRA

These guides work for any US company and any US transfer agent. Just swap out GameStop's and Computershare's details for your company and transfer agent.

In Kind Distribution

Shares are removed from IRA, then are directly registered. Taxes or penalty may apply.

In Kind Direct Transfer

Shares are moved to a non-broker IRA custodian, then are directly registered on your behalf.

Transfer Shares
to LLC

Shares are moved to a checkbook IRA, then are directly registered via LLC which you establish.
